At The Norlands the emphasis is on relaxation and comfort. We are ideally located for the Open Air Theatre, beaches, North Bay Railway, harbour, swimming pools, Peasholm Park, Indoor Bowling Centre, sea Life Centre, Scarborough cricket ground and golf courses.
Our pleasant Residents' Lounge with its panoramic views over the North Bay and Scarborough Castle is the perfect place to sit and unwind after a busy day sightseeing.
We pride ourselves on the quality of our home cooked cuisine and the use of fresh local produce. We offer a full English breakfast and a four course evening dinner, both with a choice of menu. A selection of table wines is available to complement your meal. We are more than happy to cater for vegetarian and special diets, expecially gluten-free meals as the owner is a coeliac.
At The Norlands we have a choice of 14 modern, individually decorated and well furnished bedrooms - single, double, twin and family - all en-suite and many enjoying sea views. Each is equiped with televisions, tea and coffee making facilities and courtesy toiletries.
Furthermore, it makes an excellent base for exploring the glorious Yorkshire countryside and coast. This stunning area has been the backdrop to numerious television series including 'All Creatures Great and Small', 'Heartbeat' and 'The Royal'. The magnificent North York Moors with their famous steam railway, the rolling fields of the Yorkshire Wolds and dramatic Yorkshire Dales are all easily accessible. Take a day trip to historic York, visit some of the area's many castles and abbey ruins, or take a leisurely walks in the grandeur of Dalby Forest.
